During my stay in Hanoi over Christmas, I stayed at a hotel that had some decent amenities. The two key features that attracted me were the proximity of the hotel to the central shopping districts and plentiful hot water for showering. , the hotel seemed to be located in a relatively safe area of the city.

Sadly, my experience at the hotel was overall quite unpleasant, with a few major disappointments. The staff spoke little English, making it hard to communicate and feel welcome.

We chose a hotel close to the mall for convenience, and it was easy to walk there. the surrounding area had plenty of food options available, which was helpful. one minor issue was finding the hotel entrance. Once found, the reception area was modern and clean. the elevator was efficient in taking us to our room, which had a comfortable bed and was nicely decorated.

The language barrier made communication difficult.

The hotel had a nice location close to the mall. they had room cards for the elevator which enhanced security.

The hotel had many issues. the personnel hardly spoke English making communication difficult.

Cleanliness was good. Hotel facilities were satisfactory. Transportation was easy. Location close to the mall was convenient.

Nothing.

The location near the mall, relaxing between flights, convenient. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

It was all superb.
